Submission and Guidelines

The deadline for abstract submission is 3rd February 2014 and notification of acceptance will be sent to the corresponding author by 31st March 2014.

The deadline for the abstract submission for the TEPE 2014 Conference has been extended to 20th February 2014.

The deadline for full papers of the accepted abstracts is 30th June 2014. Send accepted full papers to tepe2014@idi.hr.

The deadline for the submission of papers for the special issue of Croatian Journal of Education has been extended to 1st September 2014.

The abstracts will be blind reviewed by two reviewers and included in the Book of Abstracts, and the full papers will be uploaded at the conference website. Selected full papers will be published in the Croatian Journal of Education.

All abstracts and papers must be in English. The language editing of the text is a sole responsibility of the authors.

If you wish to publish paper on the topic of your TEPE 2014 presentation, please submit your manuscript for the special issue of peer-reviewed Croatian Journal of Education no later than September 1st 2014. Detailed guidelines for authors can be found here.


Abstracts should consist of up to 300 words including keywords and title.

Criteria for the evaluation of papers

Reviewers will evaluate papers according to the following criteria:

  1. Does the paper clearly address at least one of the central goals of the TEPE Network?
  2. Does the paper present innovative ideas and new knowledge on the subject under examination?
  3. Does the paper present clear policy recommendations related to teacher education?
  4. Does the paper fit with the technical requirements e.g. length (4000-6000 words), references and quality of language?
