The paper entitled Scientific literacy and attitudes towards science in Croatia by Adrijana Šuljok, Ph.D. is published in the “Sociology and Space” journal, 58 (1).

The paper examines the relationship between scientific literacy and public attitudes toward science in Croatia, as well as their sociodemographic determinants. The findings indicate a low level of scientific literacy, but still predominantly positive attitudes towards science, with some indications of retraditionalization. The findings also indicate a significant, but weak relationship between the level of scientific literacy and (positive) attitudes towards science, which is consistent with the findings of foreign research.
