The project activities include two research studies on the nationally representative sample in the Republic of Croatia: one about the respondents’ perceptions and attitudes towards citizenship and the other about the political literacy of high school graduate students. Based on these results a public campaign for educational policies stakeholders (teachers, students, parents, decision makers) is planned with the aim of implementing the contents of civic education into Croatian schools. The Institute’s role within the project is to coordinate the research on citizenship and to provide the preliminary interpretation of the research findings and to provide the methodology for research of the political literacy of high school graduate students, and to analyze and interpret these findings. The project activities include dissemination of the research findings to the interested public, publication of scientific and professional papers and conference presentations.
