Development of the Sociological Study Gornji Grad and Kaptol within the Programme of comprehensive renewal of the historical centre of Zagreb

The sociological study is developed by the ISRZ research team for the area of Gornji Grad and Kaptol within the Programme of comprehensive renewal of the historical centre of Zagreb. Having in mind the specificities of this part of the protected space, participative processes of working with the tenants and users of this space need to be carried out in the form of qualitative methodology, i.e. focus groups, and structured and semi-structured interviews. The planned working methods can contribute significantly in the conducting and implementing of a more successful communication with citizens (tenants and space users). The study will thus strive to gain insight into the so-called short-term and long-term directon of development and planning of the renewal of this specific part of the City of Zagreb core. Through the prism of opinions of tenants and users, and other involved actors, the sociological study will, based on the conclusions and recommendations, provide an expert contribution to the development of an interdisciplinary Programme of comprehensive renewal of the historical centre of Zagreb.
