A chapter by Dinka Marinović Jerolimov, Ph. D. and prof. Ankica Marinović, Ph. D. entitled „Is an anti-cult movement emerging in Croatia?“ was published in “Cult wars” in historical perspective: new and minority religions“ by the prominent publishing house Routlege.

Cult wars” in historical perspective: new and minority religions“ offers a broad and thorough insight into the process of shaping of the cult wars or cult controversies of the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries and examines the ways in which the cult question is defined and addressed in different countries included in the research.

The authors in this article question whether anti-cult movement is emerging in Croatia based on an analysis of some anti-cult activities. They point to the fact that “cult wars” are decisively shaped by social context, even though they are not isolated from broader developments elsewhere.
