Summer Camp Academy open data (Open Youth Academy) brought together young people and experts from Croatia, also from entire Southeast Europe, the European Union and North America. The second Academy this year was held from 28 August to September 3 in Pula. A central theme of the program was related to the information of local government, the objectives of sustainable development and joint projects in the region. Participants in the camp for 6 days had the opportunity to learn about the use of information of the local public sector, the objectives of sustainable development and regional projects and socialize and share their ideas with young people with similar interests.
Academy was organized by non-governmental organization Open Government Partnership, which seeks to involve young people in the democratic processes, providing them the opportunity to learn and discuss the values of open government. Summer camp is therefore sought gathering of ambitious young people through lectures, workshops and discussions to use open dana and tools for the common good and commercial use.
