Researchers dr. sc. Zrinka Ristić Dedić and dr. sc. Boris Jokić from The Center for Educational Research and Development have since 2004 examined the phenomenon of private tutoring in the context of the educational system of the Republic of Croatia. Their newest research project Private Tutoring Phenomenon: Developing Policy Options (2009 – 2011) has just finished and thus you can download it and overview the project results.

The project objective was:

  • The analysis of the various educational stakeholders’ perspectives on the phenomenon of private tutoring in the Republic of Croatia
  • Based on the collected perspectives, to determine the causes of the outspread of the phenomenon of private tutoring
  • In collaboration with the participating educational stakeholders to suggest the models for regulating the phenomenon in the Republic of Croatia.
