Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Social Research in Zagreb and a Principal Investigator (project manager) of the project in the field of youth sociology. Teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of Zagreb. Does research in the fields of youth sociology, political sociology, sociology of culture and sociology of mass media.
Maja Jokić graduated with a degree in biology at Faculty of Sciences, University of Zagreb. She defended her Master’s and Doctoral theses in the field of information sciences also at University of Zagreb. Since 2007, she is a senior research scientist. Until December 2010, she was employed in National and University Library in Zagreb. She holds a chair in “Introduction to scientific research” at several faculties of University in Zagreb. She specialises in science research and development with emphasis on bibliometric research of science.
Graduated in Sociology and Comparative Literature at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zagreb. She received her M.A. and Ph.D. at the same faculty in the field of Sociology of religion. Senior Scientific Associate at the Institute for Social Research in Zagreb. She teaches undergraduate courses on comparative religion at the University of Zagreb. Her main fields of interest are sociology of religion, particularly unchurched religiosity and religious experience, and sociology of media.
Graduated in Sociology and Pedagogy at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zagreb and received her M.A. and Ph.D. at the same university. She is a scientific advisor at the Institute for Social Research in Zagreb and a Principal Investigator of International Social Survey Program (ISSP) for Croatia. Her main fields of interest are traditional church religiosity, New Religious Movements and youth religiosity.
Graduated in Psychology at the Department of Psychology, University of Zagreb. In 1999, she received her Ph.D. from the same Department, with the thesis in personality psychology. She is a scientific advisor at the Institute for Social Research in Zagreb and program coordinator at the Centre for Educational Research and Development. She is a lecturer at the undergraduate and postgraduate studies of psychology at the University of Zagreb. Her fields of research are educational psychology, personality psychology and cross-cultural psychology.
