Nikola Baketa

Finished BA at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Political Science in 2010. He holds MA in Political Science from Central European University in Budapest (specialized in Comparative politics) and Master program from University of Zagreb, Faculty of Political Science, (specialized in Public policy). Nikola finished his PhD at Postgraduate doctoral school Comparative politics at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Political Science. His research interests are civic education, higher education policy and policy change.

Marko Kovačić

Marko holds a Ph.D. in public policy from the University of Ljubljana, an MA in political science from Central European University, another MA in public policy from the University of Zagreb where he also earned his BA in political science. His research interests cover the fields of political sociology and youth policy, more specifically youth participation, citizenship, and youth work.

Jelena Matić Bojić

Jelena holds Ph.D. in Psychology from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb, Croatia. She works as a research associate at the Institute for Social Research in Zagreb, Centre for Educational Research and Development. Her research is primarily in the field of educational psychology and (generalized) prejudice.

Iva Odak

Graduated in Sociology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. In 2015 she received a PhD at the same university, with the thesis “Cultural capital and social position of the family as factors of educational inequalities”. She is currently employed as a research associate at the Centre for Educational Research and Development of the Institute for Social Research in Zagreb. Her fields of interest include sociology of education, with the emphasis on social dimension and educational inequalities.

Lana Peternel

Graduated in Ethnology and Russian language and literature at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. She received M.A. at the Faculty of Natural Science with the thesis in biological anthropology and Ph.D. at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb with the thesis in cultural anthropology focusing on ethnic identity and the acculturation process among adolescents with a migrant background in Croatia. Her main fields of interest include research on cultural change in contemporary context, along with interdisciplinary approach to identity, ethnicity and religion.

Nikola Petrović

Graduated in Sociology at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Zagreb. He received his PhD in Sociology at the same Faculty in 2013 with the thesis “Analysis of defining the European Union by ideology”. He is a research associate at the Institute for Social Research in Zagreb. His research interests are sociology of knowledge and science and European studies.

Josip Šabić

He graduated (2008) and received a PhD in Psychology (2018) at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. From 2008 to 2016, he worked in the National Centre for External Evaluation of Education on the development and construction of examinations. Since 2016, he has been employed at the Centre for Educational Research and Development of the Institute for Social Research in Zagreb. His fields of interest are psychology of education and psychometrics.

Adrijana Šuljok

Graduated in Sociology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb where she also received her PhD in Sociology with the thesis „Media Representations of Science and Social Changes in Croatia“. She is a scientific associate at the Institute for Social Research, working on the project Social Actors of Science and Technology (2007-). Her field of research is sociology of science, especially public understanding of science and science communication studies.
