The Institute started collaboration of the ‘GPS 1.1. Generation of Support and deStigmatization’ project

The Institute for Social Research in Zagreb is one of five partner organizations involved in a recently commenced project “GPS 1.1. Generation of Support and deStigmatization”. The main project beneficiary is DrONe – Association for Social Development and Non-formal Education from Karlovac, and the project is financially supported by the Active Citizens Fund – Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, which aims to strengthen civil society organisations, promote active citizenship and empower vulnerable social groups.

With the aim of improving the capacities of civil society, exploring the needs of youth and increasing the level of knowledge on youth mental health within the community, the Association for Social Development and Non-formal Education DrONe, in collaboration with 5 partner organizations, created the “GPS 1.1. Generation of Support and deStigmatization”, whose main aim is to empower the mental health of youth in the community and to destigmatize the youth whose mental health is at risk.
