Senior Research Assistant Vanja Međugorac participated in the IAPS conference “Sustainability as wellbeing: Towards healthy, green, and equitable communities”

Senior Research Assistant Vanja Međugorac participated in the International Association for People-Environment Studies - IAPS conference “Sustainability as wellbeing: Towards healthy, green, and equitable communities”, which was held between 29 June and 3 July at the University of Surrey in England.

He presented the paper titled “Stakeholders’ imaginaries of the public and contentions over ”, in which he analysed the ways in which various renewable energy ownership models are socially legitimised through various conceptions on the role of public in the energy system.

Also, as the leader of the IAPS Early Career Researchers Network, he organised a workshop on interdisciplinary collaboration in the research of the relation between people and the environment, with the aim of fostering knowledge exchange, mutual support and future research collaboration among young researchers.
