Music teachers’ personal resources and planned persistence in the profession: The multifaceted role of work engagement

Dora Petrović, PhD is the author of the paper “Music teachers’ personal resources and planned persistence in the profession: The multifaceted role of work engagement“, published in the journal “Music Education Research“ (Q1 for Music, Q2 for Education).

In the paper, the author is focused on dual identity of music teachers, while examining how teachers' self-efficacy (teacher's role) and music profession (musician's role) contribute to their intention to remain in the profession. Furthermore, the paper examines the mediation role of work engagement, and its aspects in that relationship.

The paper is written as part of the project “Educational and Career Plans of Youth in Music Education - MUSICPLAN“, financed by the NextGenerationEU fund.
