Mirjana Adamović and Ratko Đokić Presented bE-SAFE Project Research Findings in Madrid

Dr. Mirjana Adamović and Dr. Ratko Đokić participated on 13 November 2025 in the partners’ meeting of the project CERV-2022-DAPHNE-101096462-bE-SAFE “Raising Awareness of Gender-Based Cyber Violence against Girls and Women and Creating a Safer Online Environment” held in Madrid. The project, coordinated by the Office of the Ombudsperson for Gender Equality of the Republic of Croatia, aims to raise awareness of gender-based cyber violence at the institutional and societal level and to create preconditions for improving the legislative and legal framework regulating cyber violence in Croatia, Spain, and Portugal, as well as across the European Union.

As part of the project, a conference was held on 14 November 2025 at the School of Labor Relations (Escuela Profesional de Relaciones Laborales), Complutense University of Madrid.

At the conference, Dr. Ratko Đokić and Dr. Mirjana Adamović presented the results of a comparative study on the knowledge and experiences of children, young people, and parents regarding gender-based cyber violence in Croatia, Portugal, and Spain.
