Jelena Zlatar Gamberožić, PhD, participated in the 2nd Island Collegium entitled “Ethnographies of Islandness.”

The course was held on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Research. She presented her current and planned projects on the topic of island research.

The Island Collegium is organized as an annual meeting of scientists from the fields of humanities and social sciences who deal with island research and is one of the activities of a joint project on islands (Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Research and the Institute for Migration and Ethnic Studies) financed within the programme funding for the period 2024-2027. The aim of the Collegium is to exchange information on current work and future plans of researchers with the idea of encouraging mutual cooperation.
