Assistant Anamaria Klasić defended her PhD thesis

Assistant Anamaria Klasić defended her PhD thesis titled Social aspects of the quality of life in Zagreb housing estates of the socialist and post-socialist period, on Wednesday 2 July 2025. The mentor was Anđelina Svirčić Gotovac, PhD, Scientific Advisor, who was also the Principal Investigator of the bilateral Croatian Science Foundation project within which the thesis was completed (Quality of living in the Housing Estates of the socialist and post-socialist era: a comparative analysis between Slovenia and Croatia, HESC, 2020-2023).

The thesis was defended at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Zagreb, where the Assistant attended the Postgraduate doctoral study programme of Sociology. The members of the Expert panel for the defence of the thesis were Associate Professor Jana Šarinić, PhD, Associate Professor Ksenija Klasnić, PhD and Jelena Zlatar Gamberožić, PhD, Scientific Advisor.
