Members of the Centre for Spatial and Political Research Anđelina Svirčić Gotovac, PhD and Anamaria Klasić, PhD participated in the symposium titled “To Live or to Survive? – Housing in the 21st Century“, which was organized by the Club of Sociology Students “Diskrepancija“. The symposium was held at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb from 15 till 17 April 2026, and it gathered not only students from Croatia and other countries, but also senior researchers of the housing domain.
As part of the symposium, Anđelina Svirčić Gotovac, PhD participated in the panel “Housing Policies and Affordable Housing in Croatia“ together with the colleague architect Tea Truta, MS of The City of Zagreb Institute for Physical Planning. Anamaria Klasić, PhD presented results of her doctoral study in the plenary session titled “Social Aspects of the Quality of Life in Housing Estates in Zagreb“.
The results were obtained within the CSF project “Quality of living in the Housing Estates of the socialist and post-socialist era: a comparative analysis between Slovenia and Croatia“ (HESC, 2020 – 2023), under the mentorship of the project principal investigator Anđelina Svirčić Gotovac, PhD.
