A newly published original scientific paper by professor Maja Jokić, Ph.D. (ISRZ) and Irena Petrušić, M.Sc. (ASHE) „Some of the Reasons of Poor Representation of Croatian Universities in World University Rankings“ was published in the journal „Media Research“ (Vol. 22, no. 1) 2016.
The aim of this paper was to explore the reasons for the current representation of Croatian universities in the world’s most prestigious university rankings. For comparison purposes, the authors have made an analysis of the representation of universities in 10 post-socialist EU countries (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Romania and Bulgaria), as well as four former Yugoslav countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and Serbia).
